Lace Weight - 2 ply
Kid Silk Lace
Weight: Lace Weight, 2 ply
Fibre: 72% Kid Mohair, 28% Mulberry Silk
Meterage: 50g, 420m
Features: Beautifully soft halo with a light sheen from the silk
Use: Brilliant for holding double in projects to create a soft halo, or you could hold it double for a beautifully delicate piece!

Suri Silk Merino Lace (Available for custom orders only)
Weight: Lace Weight, 2 ply
Fibre: 50% Baby Suri Alpaca, 30% Extra Fine Merino, 20% Silk
Meterage: 100g, 1200m
Features: A very slight fluff from the suri, a sheen from the silk and then a beautiful structure from the extra fine merino. Funnily enough, I accidentally ordered this base instead of something else but I'm glad I did. What a great mistake!
Use: On its own in a delicate shawl or held double for those that aren't a fan of fluffy fibres. Even though it has suri alpaca (the fluffy stuff), the extra fine merino gives it a bit of structure so it's a great option for those with more sensitive skin

Suri Silk Lace
Weight: Lace Weight, 2 ply
Fibre: 74% Baby Suri Alpaca, 26% Mulberry Silk
Meterage: 50g, 300m
Features: A beautiful soft halo from the suri and a nice sheen from the silk. The suri is fluffy but not hairy so it's brilliant for those with sensitive skin. It's a great alternative to mohair silk lace
Use: On its own in a delicate shawl or held double for those that want to add a bit of texture to their work. Even though it has suri alpaca (the fluffy stuff), I would say this base it very soft and perfect for those with sensitive skin

Fingering Weight - 4 ply
Merino Fingering (Upgraded Base)
Weight: Sock, Fingering, 4 ply
Fibre: 100% Australian Extra Fine Superwash Merino
Meterage: 100g, 400m
Features: A soft and squishy merino that many have said is nice and plump! It has a nice twist to it for clean stitch definition
Use: Great for lighter weight items such as a shawl, t-shirt or summer jumper

Suri Alpaca
Weight: Fingering, 4 ply
Fibre: 100% Brushed Suri Alpaca
Meterage: 100g, 400m
Features: A fluffy, thick and beautifully soft base. Suri fibre could be considered the best of all worlds, often being described as being soft as cashmere, warm as merino and having a lustre like silk
Use: Great to be held double for projects to add a soft halo or held by itself to create a soft and snuggly shawl or sweater

Sock
Weight: Sock, Fingering, 4 ply
Fibre: 80% Superwash Extra Fine Australian Merino, 20% Nylon
Meterage: 100g, 400m
Features: A well structured sock yarn. The Australian Merino is soft while the nylon provides durability
Use: Great for well wearing garments such as socks and shawls

Slub
Weight: Sock, Fingering, 2 ply
Fibre: 90% Superwash Merino, 10% Nylon
Meterage: 100g, 400m
Features: Similar to art yarn, this base is a two ply construction where one thread of superwash merino is wrapped with a thread of nylon unevenly which creates the awesome bumpy and lumpy texture
Use: Perfect for pieces where you want to add some texture. Accessories such as cowls and hats or a simple stockinette garment where you want to add something interesting!

Angel
Weight: Sock, Fingering, 4 ply
Fibre: 70% Baby Alpaca, 20% Mulberry Silk, 10% Cashmere
Meterage: 100g, 400m
Features: One of the softest bases I've ever felt. The silk provides a beautiful sheen while the cashmere and alpaca provide the softest cloud like base. It's slightly fluffy from the alpaca but not as much as the brushed suri or mohair
Use: Great for creating garments with a nice drape. A t-shirt out of this base would be so luxurious! It would also be perfect for a lacey shawl

Donegal Nep
Weight: Fingering, 4 ply
Fibre: 85% Superwash Merino, 15% Donegal Nep
Meterage: 100g, 400m
Features: Little brown, white and black Neps are sprinkled throughout the fibre creating a soft but rustic texture
Use: Spice up simple projects with this textured base. A simple top or sweater is really bought to life with this base! Also great for beanies, cowls or other accessories

Rainbow Nep
Weight: Fingering, 4 ply
Fibre: 85% Superwash Merino, 15% Coloured Donegal Nep
Meterage: 100g, 400m
Features: Little rainbow Neps are sprinkled throughout the fibre creating a soft but fun texture
Use: Spice up simple projects with this textured base. A simple top or sweater is really bought to life with this base! Also great for beanies, cowls or other accessories

Zebra Merino
Weight: Fingering, 2 ply
Fibre: 100% Superwash Merino
Meterage: 100g, 400m
Features: This base has a two ply construction. Mostly white merino but then there are sections with a black and white strand of merino creating zebra patches throughout the final worked up piece
Use: Spice up simple projects with this funky base. A simple top or sweater is really bought to life! Also great held double for accessories

Merino Sport
Weight: Sport, 5ply
Fibre: 100% Superwash Merino
Meterage: 100g, 300m
Features: A really soft merino. A nice in between weight if you want quick socks or a jumper, but not too thick
Use: Great for all garments, shawls, snuggly socks and other accessories

Features: A really soft merino. Nice and plump for a relatively quick knit
Use: Great for all garments, shawls, thick snuggly socks and other accessories

Suri Silk DK
Weight: DK, 8 ply
Fibre: 90% Baby Suri Alpaca, 10% Silk
Meterage: 100g, 225m
Features: The fluffiest most gloriously soft base you ever did see. It is so luscious. Forget holding suri or mohair double, grab one strand of this and off you go! It is absolutely beautiful. Great for fluffy jumpers/tops or a snuggly scarf, beanie etc.

Weight: DK, 8 ply
Fibre: 100% Superwash Merino Boucle
Meterage: 100g, 220m
Features: A soft and airy base that is nice and plump. A jumper in this would be so cosy. It takes the dye beautifully so the colours are always vibrant!

Features: A 3 ply construction which creates a great stitch definition and is still nice and soft. I find this base has a great sheen to it too! Due to the thicker weight, it knits up super quick as well
Use: Great for everything, especially projects that you need done quickly! Perfect for a warm snuggly sweater or a chunky beanie

Alpaca Chunky
Weight: Chunky, 12ply
Fibre: 100% Baby Alpaca
Meterage: 100g, 100m
Features: A 2 ply construction which creates a very bouncy and soft base. It has a nice sheen to it is ridiculously soft. Due to the thicker weight, it knits up super quick as well
Use: Great for everything, especially projects that you need done quickly! Perfect for a warm snuggly sweater or a chunky beanie
